Welcome to Big Dog Summer
From shepherds to staffies, Mastiffs to malamutes, Joybound loves big dogs and we want to take some time to celebrate them this summer! Over the next two months, our training and enrichment team will be providing training tips specific to large dogs, our in-house boutique will be selling fun “Big Dog Summer” t-shirts, and our adoption team will be waiving adoption fees on all large dogs (weighing 50+ lbs) every Wednesday until the end of August.
Join us in celebrating everything that makes our larger-than-life canine companions so extra special.
Lightning & Robby: Together Through Thick & Thin
The best place for a pet is with the people who love them. That’s why Joybound’s Community Solutions are dedicated to keeping pets with their families and out of shelters. Community Solutions makes stories like this possible: Robby found the friend of a lifetime in a little, scrappy, black cat named Lightning.

Fill the Food Bank with Pet Food Express
Pet food banks, like Joybound’s FoodShare Pantry, offer free pet food and supplies to those in need of help. Our partners at Pet Food Express are hosting a “Fill the Food Bank” campaign, with 100% of gifts going to pet food banks in the community!
