Part II of Canine Courage focuses on developing more of an understanding about dogs. Fun facts and lessons are explored to learn about dogs’ five senses and how they relate to ours. Learning how to feel safe around dogs is reviewed from Part I.
The session wraps up with a meet and greet with one of ARF’s well trained Therapy Dogs. Students will have the opportunity to interact with the calm therapy dog in a safe, assuring atmosphere and practice their new skills of how to properly meet a dog.
Parents are welcome to attend with their child.
