Vaccinations are an extremely important part of your pet’s health and wellbeing. By teaching their immune system how to recognize and fight off diseases, they can prevent or lessen the severity of illnesses. Our community partners at Contra Costa Animal Services are hosting a day of free pet vaccinations and microchips to keep pets healthy and safe. Services provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Services begin at 9 AM and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Space fills up quickly, so we advise clients to arrive early.

Here are the free pet services you can find at this Contra Costa Animal Services pet vaccination clinic, while supplies last:
- Dog vaccinations:
- DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, & Parvovirus) vaccines
- Rabies vaccines
- Cat vaccinations:
- FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, & Panleukopenia) vaccines
- Rabies vaccines
- Microchipping
- Dry dog and cat food through Joybound’s FoodShare pantry.
The team at this community clinic is unable to provide Canine Influenza vaccines, Leptospirosis vaccines, Bordetella vaccines, etc.
Please Note
- Dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier.
- Cats must be in secure carriers.
- Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you in advance for your patience.
- Guardians must be Contra Costa County resident and at least 18 years of age.
- Please bring prior vaccine records if available.
- All pets must be at least 6 weeks old.
- Clinic services will be held outside, rain or shine.
- Contra Costa Animal Services reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
